Yolanda Schuster

Born and raised in Eastern Switzerland I had been fascinated by painting already at the time when I went to school. After starting with simple work I tried more complicated techniques including water colour, inspired by impressions during travel and by reading books about the fascinating cultures of Central America.

A long-term stay in Africa and several visits of volcanic landscapes in East Asia influenced my work during recent years evolving into a personal style by using selected materials typically applied on canvas.
